Instrumental Music Service Winter Concert

The City of Edinburgh Council’s Instrumental Music Service returns to Central Hall for an incredible evening of music which showcase the great work in music taking place within the City’s Primary and Secondary Schools as well as their central bands, orchestras and ensembles.

Over 80 instrumental music instructors are employed throughout the city. These concerts give the students the opportunity of performing in a professional concert hall with allied production facilities of sound and lights, collaborating with their peers and playing to a large audience.  

The concert will be packed with a wonderful variety of music from schools across Edinburgh that will include the Edinburgh, Edinburgh Strings Training Orchestra, The Locality Wind Band, the Edinburgh Schools Classical Guitar Orchestra, Edinburgh Schools’ Rock Ensemble and the Edinburgh Schools Jazz Orchestra.
