The eagerly awaited tickets for the Dunedin Consort 2024-25 season are now on sale to everybody.

We are selling tickets for seven of their events both here and at other venues across Edinburgh.

The season starts on Friday 27th September at St Gile's Cathedral with star soprano Carolyn Sampson singing 'Jauchzet Gott' one of Bach's most purely joyous works alongside a varied and remarkable programme directed by John Butt, with virtuoso trumpet from Paul Sharp.

Hail! Bright Cecilia on Friday 22nd November at Greyfriars Kirk features the Dunedin Consort and Royal Academy of Music Baroque Soloists performing Purcell's piece written in 1692 to honour the patron saint of musicians.

On Wednesday 18th December there's the welcome return of the Messiah and Children's Messiah here at The Queen's Hall - Christmas just wouldn't be the same without them.

Friday 7th March sees the premiere of David Fennessy's 'Bog Cantata' at Greyfriars Kirk performed by one of the UK's most sought-after baritones, Roderick Williams.

Scotland's only professional choir is directed by Nicolas Mulroy on Friday 28th March 2025 in The Quality of Mercy Choral Tour at Greyfriars Kirk. Being performed during Lent, the music invites contemplation and reflection.

And finally on Friday 11th April 2025 is Johann Sebastian Bach's 'Matthew Passion' which was first performed on Good Friday in 1727 and will feature Joanne Lunn, Soprano and Hugo Hymas as the Evangelist.
