The second in our informal series of intimate events exploring the border territories of contemporary, classical and experimental music.

Tonight is all about the cello, and the beguiling relationship it has with electronics. Composer Ben Chatwin is joined by cellist Pete Harvey, whilst The Queen’s Hall’s recently installed associate artist in residence, Michael Begg, is joined by cellist Clea Friend.

Who knows what to expect? Surprise and the unknown are built in as standard - though anticipate a crepuscular alignment of modular synthesis, loops, electronic mischief alongside some wonderful musicianship.

Presented by The Queen’s Hall and Omnempathy and is supported by Creative Scotland’s National Lottery funding.
