Horse is bringing the first 30 year anniversary show, 'The Same Sky', to The Queen’s Hall and will be revisiting and reliving memories from this evocative and formative first Horse album.
In March 1989, the first single 'You Could Be Forgiven' was released, it was so different from anything else - thrilling first plays on Radio 1, this track absolutely set the bar. A unique Scottish voice and music with brilliant band; the first major UK tour followed. In 1990 there were tours across Europe opening for artists such as Tina Turner and BB King.
The ultimate song from this album and arguably, any of her albums, is 'Careful', a beautiful and timeless song, which will forever be ‘her song’.
This is a night which will inevitably conjure up treasured times from over the years for her entire audience. It’s a full band show with some very special guests - playing the album in its entirety - a set choc-full of classic songs. A rare evening, showcasing her great singing, songwriting and performance skills - such prowess would be hard to equal.
Winner of the BBC Radio Scotland Singer/Songwriter Award 2019 Mike McKenzie will be opening the show for Horse.
