The Whole World Is Quiet - A Series of Acoustic Shows.
Del Amitri are pleased to announce three special Edinburgh Festival Fringe concerts at The Queen’s Hall on the 26th, 27th and 28th August 2021. The shows will feature tracks from new album ‘Fatal Mistakes’ plus many old favourites.
“After so many cancellations and postponements there’s finally a real prospect of playing live again. And before we start the tour in September, we have been given a unique opportunity to play three intimate shows, where we can perform songs from ‘Fatal Mistakes’ and some unexpected gems to you, on our acoustic guitars, in a “Del Amitri rocks-but-in-a gentle-way”! While you relax and take it all in with a glass of Côtes du Rhône, in a tables and chairs setting. It’s not the kind of show we’ve ever done before, but after all the shit that has gone down in the past year-and-a-half what better time could there be!” – Justin Currie
The shows will be socially distanced and fully compliant with up-to-date Scottish Government Covid safety guidelines. These guidelines may change closer to the event, so if you miss out on tickets in this first release, please keep an eye on social media and sign-up to our newsletter to be kept updated if/when more are released.
To ensure compliance to the guidelines, tickets are being sold in 'bubbles' of 2, 3 and 4 people. Whilst we have maximised the capacity for this event, there are limited amounts of each bubble available.
Seats are sold unallocated, but will be reserved for you, with our team working behind the scenes to ensure that all bubbles are seated in the best position possible. We will be in touch with you nearer the time to let you know where your bubble will be sitting. Please ensure when you book that we have your correct email address.
If you've any specific access requirements for any member of your bubble please contact boxoffice@queenshalledinburgh.org
