Auri

In the fleeting moments between wakefulness and reaching the doors of dreamworld, lies a borderland from which comes the mood music of ancient stories told – the celestial unison of three creative souls known as AURI.

First envisioned in 2011, Auri is a group made up of Johanna Kurkela (vocals), Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards) and Troy Donockley (flutes, folk instruments). AURI was born from a need to find a creative channel free from the constraints of their main bands and their audiences’ expectations. Now complemented by Kai Hahto (percussion), Auri's atmospheric music conjures up fantastical worlds, capturing you from the first notes and not letting go.

Drawing from Celtic folk and cinematic pop, Auri is music that is difficult to explain in words. This is music that taps directly into your emotions. 

Come and linger for a moment in dreamworld adventures, where everyday things can momentarily transform into otherworldly wonders.
