2018 sees the 50th Anniversary of the release of the very first record by Barclay James Harvest, the classic Early Morning single.
2018 will see the reissues of the first four BJH albums in Deluxe form and John Lees' Barclay James Harvest will also release a follow up studio album to the successful 2013 release North.
Barclay James Harvest are one of the world’s most successful progressive rock bands. Formed in 1966, the band originally featured John Lees, Les Holroyd, Stuart “Wooly” Wolstenholme and Mel Pritchard. Sadly Mel Pritchard and “Wooly” Wolstenholme passed away in the 2000s. Lead vocalist and guitarist John Lees continues performing the band’s music to this day as John Lees’ Barclay James Harvest.
