The Stylus Fantasicus - virtuoso violin sonatas

The Stylus Fantasicus is a genre of virtuoso instrumental music that blossomed across Europe in the late 17th century. This concert includes works by Schmelzer, Erlebach and Biber who all contributed to the evolution of the musical practice of the time, especially for the violin.
