The culmination of this Festival is a two-part concert. The first half has 'Highlights' - outstanding performances selected from a range of classes across the Festival.
After the interval is the final of the Festival’s Concerto Class in which four soloists perform movements from major concertos, accompanied by The Friends of The Festival Orchestra conducted by Gordon Bragg.
The preliminary round of the Concerto Class was held at St. Cuthbert's Parish Church on Friday 21st January and Saturday 22nd January. The main Festival will run from Tuesday 1st to Sunday 13th March. All classes are open to the public at no charge.
The full programme is available now at Rae Macintosh Musicroom, 41 Shandwick Place, Edinburgh EH2 4RG or during the Festival at the venues themselves (St Cuthbert’s Church, St Mark’s Unitarian Church, St Andrew's and St George's West Church and Stockbridge Parish Church).
