"I'd first like to state how much I appreciate your support over the last few weeks. Thank you for all the kind words and support on the album, it's been wonderful.

I have had to make a very difficult decision regarding my album launch concert at The Queens Hall which you have all so kindly bought tickets for. 

Very long story short, I am having to reschedule the concert as I have been offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the support act for one of my idols - one of the biggest global stars in the jazz world - Gregory Porter, at the Royal Albert Hall in London next week. This has not been an easy decision whatsoever, as I love and value my loyal fan base so much, but I do hope you'll all understand this is an opportunity that I cannot refuse.

The rescheduled date for the album launch concert is 26 November. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you. I do hope you can join us on the new date for a wonderful evening together.

One of Scotland's most exciting new musical prospects, Georgia Cécile is at the helm of the new wave of UK jazz talents.

Tipped as ‘One To Watch’ by BBC Introducing and Jazzwise Magazine, Cécile’s stock has been rising on the strength of her captivating live performances and songwriting partnership with award-winning pianist/composer Euan Stevenson.

This special concert will mark the launch of Georgia Cécile’s highly anticipated debut album entitled 'Only The Lover Sings'. This exclusive concert will showcase a set of exquisitely crafted original songs from the album, fusing classic jazz and soul influences reminiscent of Duke Ellington and Nancy Wilson with a contemporary cinematic pop edge in the vein of Gregory Porter, Melody Gardot and Celeste. Co-written and arranged with Stevenson, the songs are vivid sensorial landscapes - poetic reflections on themes of love, loss, nurture and spiritual growth.

Cécile will be joined by her all-star band, including Stevenson at the helm on piano, Andrew Robb on bass and Max Popp on drums, alongside a lush string quartet and vivacious horn section.
