A fantastic performance platform giving pupils from Edinburgh’s primary and secondary schools an opportunity to showcase their achievements in music, dance and drama. Prepare to be impressed by the creativity and variety of performances.
A collaboration between The Queen’s Hall and The City of Edinburgh Council’s Instrumental Music Service
Resonate was set up in 2012 as part of The Queen’s Hall’s Creative Learning and Community activity and responding to the City Council’s desire to showcase the great work in music and performing arts taking place within the City’s Primary and Secondary Schools as well as their central bands, orchestras and ensembles. Over 80 instrumental music instructors are employed throughout the city. These concerts give the students the opportunity of performing in a professional concert hall with allied production facilities of sound and lights, collaborating with their peers and playing to a large audience. For their part The Queen’s Hall welcomes families and friends from all areas of the city.
